- aside - I'm sick of seeing the same thing in the sidebar, so I guess I should update it. It's been like three months since I picked up a bunch of beers in Michigan and I haven't reviewed them all yet, so I'm going to try to get through a bunch tonight. Then it will be on to the brewskis I picked up in Colorado last month. (comments)
- resuming - I haven't been doing much beer reviewing lately, although those of you who were at our anniversary party know that I've certainly been consuming my fair share. After the party, I needed to take a week or so off before I could look at a beer bottle again without feeling queasy. I'm back in regular form now, and will be foisting my opinions on the blogosphere again, starting today. Also, I failed in my webmasterly duty to even post about the fact that many of my fine beer-drinking compadres have now joined me in reviewing beers here at BeersGoneBy.com. See the "about" page for more info on the crew. I hope I can be forgiven for my past misdeeds, and once again looked upon with favor. (comments)
- i'm back - I intended to do more beer blogging over the past few weeks, especially since I found a source for good brews that is close to my job. I've just been busy with other things. Even though I haven't been writing I've still been drinking, and taking notes, so I'll do my best to get everything back to normal around here. (comments)
[…] Don has come up with yet another reason to drink more beer. filed under: […]
[…] Don, your kind is still welcome at the camping trips. […]
Do you take requests? I could suggest expensive exotic beers and then you’d have to buy them to keep your readers happy.
[…] Want an excuse to drink more beer? Start a beer blog! I should really create a wine blog for the exact same reason. The problem is, I like my visible abs too much. The suckers haven’t seen the light of day for years, and to re-bury them now would just be cruel. […]
I am not a beer snob. Though I do like beer, Lager, ale, and the occasional stout.
but growing up a poor man on old swill and Old Style which in my opinion is a step up. Enjoying way too many PBR’s to only to move to Bud. because of peer pressure. now in my advanced years. I could afford any beer I care to drink. I still by the Bud. Oh I dabble occasionally with an import from Germany or Ireland or if someone hands me a bottle and says try this new Sam Adams.
The only thing I try really hard not to do is drink light beer. Don’t you think coors is light enough? why make light. I blame it on Miller. They started this whole mess with Lite anyway.
Great site I could go on and on but time to go
