Victory Moonglow Weizenbock

This unfiltered wheat beer pours a reddish amber color with lot of stuff floating around in it. When drinking unfiltered beers, lot of stuff floating in it is a good thing. The nose is spicy and sweet, with a slight hint of wheat. The taste is exactly what you might expect given the nose. It’s both spicy and sweet, with a nutty character to it. It’s almost 9% alcohol, but you don’t taste it at all. I have to get up at 5 AM tomorrow, so I’m hoping I don’t feel it as well.
This is a fabulous beer. It’s complex but very well balanced. The distribution is spotty, but it is available in IL. Don may want to make a run for the border.
