breckenridge avalanche amber ale

And now back to our regularly scheduled programming.
As I mentioned before our little foray into one of the few (real) beer bars in this town, it was when we lived in Colorado that I first got into craft beers. One of the breweries that I regularly sampled from was Breckenridge Brewery. I recently picked up their Avalanche Amber Ale. This is a nice solid beer. As its name implies, it’s a nice amber color. It was very smooth and sweet with hints of caramel and an almost honey-like flavor. It’s malty, with very little bitterness. A very drinkable beer.
